You Could Have Been Donald Trump

fightidentitytheft.jpgDid you act quickly enough to get Donald Trump's social security number yesterday? The New York Department of State had posted commercial loan documents online that was meant to let lenders view the financial status of loan applicants. The problem was that anyone could search the site and social security numbers were associated with names, including the Donald's. Yikes, the identity theft possibilities were yooge!

We're not sure someone could get away with stealing Trump's identity for long, but the web site also included the SSNs for many farmers across the state who had taken out loans for farm machinery. The Post article does not say whether or not any social security numbers were actually stolen.

Both the state and the feds have tips on how to prevent identity theft from happening to you.

Just for your information, it was UCC's that NYS has on line for public viewing and in the instructions to fill out the form it's stated that this form will be posted online. So if Trump has some twit filling out these forms without reading the how to then he should fire them...unless of course that person is pretty, blonde and drunk. Then he should just send them to rehab...LOL

The moron and whoever hired the moron that posted that information should be fired!!!

I love how the State website tells us to not share our SSN with anybody. How can we help it if they're doing it for us?!
