MOVIE: Screening Liberally is showing Hannibal Rising tonight (prior to its release). The movie brings us to Hannibal Lecter's formative years, during World War II at the medieval castle in Lithuania built by Dr. Lecter's forebear, Hannibal the Grim. Sounds creepy.

THEATER: The Subjective Theater Company has devised a clever interactive show called Party Discipline that functions as a faux-seminar conducted by earnest Red Staters. Audiences of twenty are seated around a conference table and treated to a variety of enthusiastic multi-media presentations that cover a variety of topics dear to the right wing. The speakers, played completely straight by Subjective Company members, include a gay man who’s happily renounced his homosexuality, a former peacenik turned Bush-booster and a pro-lifer spreading the truth about Planned Parenthood’s sinister, secular puppet masters. - John Del Signore

MUSIC: It's here, the final night of Northsix. When it reopens it will be called ever so literal The Music Hall of Williamsburg (but we'll probably still call it Northsix). The sonic farewell will come from Radio 4, The Big Sleep and Free Blood. Tickets are still on sale, so get 'em before they sell out.
UPDATE: From Northsix: "WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THAT, FOR REASONS BEYOND OUR CONTROL (ConEdison disconnected power to the building one day too early), TONIGHT'S FINAL NORTHSIX SHOW HAS BEEN CANCELLED. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE TO THOSE WHO PURCHASED TICKETS AND, ESPECIALLY, TO THE BANDS THAT SO GRACIOUSLY AGREED TO PLAY OUR LAST SHOW."
8pm // Northsix [66 N 6th St, Williamsburg] // $15
