Gothamist: A Good Baklava is Hard to Find

First, I love baklava. I have been in Astoria, and found baklava there, but I have never eaten baklava like Gulluoglu, in Brooklyn. I don't know how they make that delcious baklava pieces. They have to explain us, then maybe we can find and eat delcious baklava everywhere in the U.S. I am just curious that if they will have a branch in the city! Thank you!

any good baklava on manhattan? last time i ordered what i thought was going to be a winner, only to have the dude spritz it with perfume before handing it to me. yuck!

Güllüoglu (julie-oo-oh-la ) Not quite: The G is hard, not like a J. The two Ls are in separate syllables: Gül-lü-oğlu The ü is like a u in dune oğlu is "oh Lou"

two dollar bills are not that difficult to come across in nyc. i have people pay with them more regularly here than anywhere in the u.s.
