Drunk Driver Injures Six in Brooklyn

2007_01_carcrash.jpgYesterday morning, a drunk driver crashed in Dyker Heights, hitting two cars and hitting two kids crossing the street. With blood alcohol twice the limit, Jian Kai Huang ran a red light, hit a truck that was crossing with the light, and then both cars hit a van waiting at the red light. Vegetable stand manager John Hughes told the Post, "I ran over there and I saw people laying all over the street. I called 911. I told the guy, 'You have to send as many ambulances as you can.'" Another witness, Gerri Reyes, said to WABC 7, "On the corner was a group of people, women and children waiting to cross and a black vehicle coming from the opposite direction and could not get out of his way. He hit into the white car. The next thing I know there are people all over the floor and I ran to call 9-1-1."

Eleven year old Jackie Huang (no relation to the driver), who was walking to McKinley Junior High School, was pinned under a car; his left foot was severed. Doctors at Lutheran Hospital are unsure if they will be able to reattach the foot. Danny Liu, a 13 year old who was also walking to school, suffered a broken elbow. Three others in cars and another pedestrian were also hurt.

Driver Jian Kai Huang, who was not only drunk but driving without a license because he lost it in 2003, had borrowed his sister's Lexus. Why did he have to borrow his sister's car? Because he crashed his own car in another drunken accident a few weeks ago! Tina Rivera, wife of a driver injured in the crash, told the Daily News, "It's really sickening, it's so sad. We have to pray for those kids."

Crazy rich Asians, drinking till morning then driving his sister's luxury car.

Bring back the old days when we would Mao Tse tung his ass.

I've always thought that anyone caught driving with a suspended license or without a license should have the car immediately and permanently confiscated. That would quickly cut off the supply of borrowed cars. After all, would you lend your car to a friend or family member you knew had license problems if you knew it could be confiscated?

I like the three strikes and you're out rule:

First time caught driving drunk: $5000 fine, 6months in jail

Second time: Lose a testicle/ breast

Third time: Complete castration / masectomy

I'm all for court ordered body mutation, I think its the only thing some humans might understand

To start with, I hope he's denied bail...

Every asian friend of mine talks about how asians have a lower tolerance to alcohol. But whatever. There are clueless idiots in every race and color. If the sister let him borrow her car, then I would hope she would be considered an accessory to a crime, and that both of them are prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

I knew there would be bad Asian driver remarks! Okay, it's out there, it's been said.

What makes my blood boil is this fool didn't have a licenses to begin with and his sister let him borrow her car. Can she be an accessory to a crime? What about the woman who was the driver's passenger? What the hell is someone doing driving that drunk at 8AM? God, this is such a sick story.
