Bread Truck Meets Brownstone Brooklyn

2007_01_breadtruck.jpg

At around 6AM, a delivery truck lost control and crashed into a brownstone at Lafayette and Marcy Avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant. WNBC reported that the driver of the truck was able to walk away and that no one else was injured. However, engineers are inspecting the house to determine whether its structural integrity has been compromised. WNBC had images from Chopper 4 and that the bread truck is totally wedged into the garden level of the house. We have to wonder how fast the bread truck was being driven.

That truck happens to belong to a bakery that advertises "deliveries right to your door".
