Subway Rider Killed by Train Downtown

A person was fatally hit by a 6 train on the downtown tracks at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station this morning.

Expect delays on the 4, 5, and 6 lines; some Brooklyn-bound 5 trains are being rerouted to the 2 line from 149 Street-Grand Course Station to Nevins Street.

There are also signal problems at 14th Street, so expect delays for Brooklyn-bound A trains.

Great way to start a week, some superman jumps in front of the train and got it stuck for at least 20 minutes. *Sigh*.....people....

sorry you were inconvenienced!

Train deaths are usually followed by a spike in train deaths.
