yeah yeah, i know it was a joke. I guess i was in a bad mood that day. I was irked mostly because I'm working a temp job in the building and I hate it, and these guys somehow have the means to take a day off (or do they even have jobs?) and "protest" in front of CBS. Bah. Waaaaaaah for me. But seriously, the whole idiotarod thing is annoying to me, even without the protest. I'm just getting too old to grant hipsters the leeway I used to. Now I just want them all to get real jobs and let their dreams die, like the REST OF US!!! MWAHAHAHAHAH

No wonder CBS can’t make a good comedy. Even the people that work in their building have no sense of humor. Yo, Dorky. It’s a joke. These idiotarod people obviously knew they couldn’t stop the episode, but they seemed to have fun trying.

Dorky I work nearby too and you're so right. Three people holding signs is hardly a protest. No media was there. They didn't even chant. The episode is airing next week - so that was really successful.

I work in the CBS building too. I saw those three weirdos with signs walking around, and at one point they chained themselves to the front doors. then they unchained themselves, having made their point. I saw police approach them on several occasions but each time they just waved their hands and said "these are not to droids you're looking for" and the police left. I guess you just saw the last time. Towards the end they arranged a bunch of gasoline soaked wookships in the shape of a cobra, about 20 feet long, and lit it on fire. I think they left after the cop showed up that time, but mostly because it smelled so bad. I'm so glad that they succeeded in getting CBS to not show the shopping cart episode tonight. Justice is on their side.

I work in the CBS building... these three wierdos were completely ignored by everyone on 52nd street. No media were there when I walked by, and from the looks of it they were shut down pretty quick, as I saw an NYPD cop talking to them in what looked to be a stern manner, and then they were gone 5 minutes later when I came back from the Chinese place across the street. They chanted some pretty dumb shit, like "DON'T watch CSI tonight on CBS at 10pm!" Which of course, made me want to do just that, and in fact I think I will.

I heard that COBRA will be replacing the Idiotarod with "Drunken Hipster Relay Cart Races 2007", in which a whole lot of hipsters show up to make fun of all the hipsters who are participating because they don't think they are hipsters, but then nobody knows who is making fun of who, since mainly the people who hate hipsters are . . . hipsters. Then giant robots dressed like clowns come out and set everyone on fire with laser eye beams. Then Gary Sinise calms the robots by singing a sad, sad song about an alcoholic monkey who feels alienated by contemporary cinema.

O.K, Pixietart, we get it! The episode is pulled and here's your proper link. We know you needed to post that six times in 15 min., but no one outside of this event really cares much about it, except the writers here - apparently. The Idiotrod is a cute idea at best, but what ruins it is "Number Six's" painstakingly attempts to be funny every 5 seconds in that interview. And the fact that it's probably free of anyone not a badass Brooklyn hipster. At least they are cool enough to put "idiot" in the title, but "Drunken Hipster Relay Cart Races" would have saved CSI the trouble of wondering what it was.

The episode was pulled due to the Iraq War infomercial fronted by George W. Bush and replaced with a repeat.
