"Stick out your can,'cuz I'm the garbage man!"

-The Cramps ca. 1980-something.

Hipsters can kiss my fat white 30-something ass. At least until they come up with some ORIGINAL craze to call their own.

In the meantime, Sanitation workers rule. I think hipsters should be conscripted to do waste-management work in this city. As my father often said to me: it builds character. Swabbing up one's own puke is an onerous task.

Wait. I was wrong. Sorry.

That leaf on the parks department logo is Maple leaf? Hey! Can't we sue Canada then?

They are neat caps!

But oh geez . . . I bet I will count at least 10 or 15 guys wearing one on the L Train by Saturday.

It was "cool" until you mentioned it, Gothamist.

When it becomes ubiquitous, it a'int cool no mo'.

Sorry . . .

I'm buying a NYC Parks Department (London Plane tree) leaf logo t-shirt. Now that's cool.

Shhhh . . . don't say anything.

I want to be a hipster for 5 minutes or so.

yum, yum, I love Coney Island Whitefish. The skin is a bit chewy, but once you get to the middle...you've reached a slice of heaven.
