ART: Yesterday we mentioned a few friends who spend their time making hamster nests, art and apparently making people very upset by merely existing. Anyway, one of them, Ryan McGinley, had an opening last night for his new show Irregular Regulars. His photographs of Morrissey were taken at shows from the past two years, and seem to depict Moz as God.

READING: Village Voice celebrity gossip columnist extroidanairre, Michael Musto, will be reading from his book La Dolce Musto, tonight. The book is a collection of gossipy vingnettes of times past (before gossip blogging, even).

MUSIC: With a new album in store for February, Dean & Britta (of Luna) are hitting the road and playing Mo Pitkins tonight. They're back there on January 23rd, and over at Union Hall on the 25th.
