Great idea, though this sentence made my inner Strunk and White go for the shotgun: "As the Post reports, this new initiative will distribute millions of these condoms throughout the city and bring New Yorkers one step closer to the stark reality that NYC has the highest rate of AIDS/HIV in the nation." ....closer to the reality of...what? No no, condoms help PREVENT the high rate of...How about raise awareness? Maybe my hangover is just talking but Jesus Buddha and Allah Gothamist have a once over when you post. That being said, gives a whole new meaning to being On the 6, doesn't it J-Lo? VideoDame

According to the health website, more than 100,000 New Yorkers have HIV/AIDS. That means more than 1% of the population has the disease. That's a bit alarming.
