Did you READ the article on pets in finland? It was quite brief, but anyhow, it goes on to say that the same study also showed pet owners there tend to be far poorer and partake in various unhealthy activity, so chances are that pet-ownership is not really to blame for their poor health. But hey, it makes a snappy headline now, doesn't it?

Rottweilers get a bad rap, but you'll notice in that Sun article that the dogs had more sense then their 'humans.' There are hundreds of deer on Martha's Vineyard. They swam, too.
