they have the worst website ever. my guess would be that one of the most important things to include in a website would be the bar's address, but alas! it's nowhere to be found. thanks, gothamist, for including the address in your review.

I think I was in Buck's Lodge the night this reviewer visited, as I too observed the "30-somethings with suits watching football interacting with the snooty 50-somethings who bitch about drink prices and complain about the TV being too loud." As soon as the old ladies left the joint, the friendly bartender promptly bought a round for everyone in the bar (about 10 of us), which was a nice touch. I'd go back.

I'll stick with Floyd - huge space, cool crowd, comfortable seating, cheap drinaks, and the best 20 meter bocce court in Brooklyn.

Magnetic Fields is good also, but seems kind of dead in there sometimes.

Dragon Lounge is a gay bar now? I used to go there when it was 'Soju', but I never went back because I felt so sad they decided to retool - Chef Diane is a genius.

Great review. I've been meaning to check that place out. I wonder though, why the failure to mention Magnetic Fields only one block away as a source for cheap drinks, good live music and great atmosphere. Any thoughts on Magnetic Fields?

umm, why would you go to a copy of Moonshine when you can just go to Moonshine itself?
