Last Night's Action: Nets Snap Their Streak

  1. Nets 91, Heat 81: Teams that score 21 straight points don't lose that often. The Nets used such a run in the third quarter to take down the Heat, who were playing without Dwyane Wade (wrist) and Shaquille O'Neal (knee). Jason Kidd, who described winning as "the best deodorant," had 17 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists as he helped his squad snap a four-game losing skid. New Jersey scored on 10 of 11 possessions during its critical run.

  2. Suns 108, Knicks 86: Phoenix didn't score during the game's first 90 seconds, but then the Suns dumped 34 -- to the Knicks' 14 -- in the first quarter en route an easy win. Jamal Crawford (21 points) continues to play well, but the Knicks might have missed the atmosphere at the Garden. They've got four more games on this trip, so they'd better make the most of the bonding on the road.
  3. Senators 1, Rangers 0: This game's video feed was interrupted in the third period, but it's just as well. New York's lost seven straight and hasn't scored in the last two games. The Rangers had their chances Friday but couldn't put them home.

  4. Devils 4, Senators 3: Scott Gomez played the hero and scored twice and added an assist for the Devils, who own the Capitals. They're 11-1-1 against them in the last 13 games. With the Rangers in a nosedive, the Devils have taken advantage of the opportunity to open up a lead in the Atlantic Division.
