Pencil This In

2006_12_arts_santas.jpgMOVIE: Now that the big jolly guy in the red suit has done his job, he's back to scare the yuletide cheer right out of ya. "Christmas Evil: You Better Watch Out", a 1980s slasher flick in which a Santa imposter is on a killing rampage, is playing in town tonight. Better hope you're on the "nice" list. After the screening there will be a poster signing by the director, Lewis Jackson.

7pm // Two Boots Pioneer Theater [153 E 3rd St] // $9

THEATER: The Servant of Two Masters, written in the 1750s by Carlo Goldoni, uses all the farcical commedia del arte devices - disguises, broken marriage contracts, duels and incorrectly delivered letters - to tell a complex tale of love, lies and self-interest. This revival, which is still in previews, is translated by Anne and Stuart Vaughan; Stuart himself serves a second master by directing the production. - John Del Signore

8pm // Theatre Three [311 West 43rd Street] // Tickets cost $25

PARTY: Keep the holiday party going with the Holiday Hangover Show at Rififi. The cheap drinks and comedy will keep you festive. The latter is provided by New York comedy group Like2Laugh, and there's a one drink minimum - so don't even think about detoxing.

8pm // Rififi [332 E 11th St] // $5

And don't forget, the Essentially Woody series is still going on over at Film Forum.
