They showed the unidentified victim in the Flushing mugging. The guy looked like he was beaten within an inch of his life, Whole face swollen. What's with the crime in Flushing all of a sudden, just a day ago a kid was shot and they think it's gang related. No not the dragons but the bloods and kripples.

Aren't those the restrooms adjacent to the Discovery Center? I walk by there occasionally and the door is usually open (it looks pretty nasty inside). It's surprising that a mugger would be so brazen around 2:30pm because there are usually people strolling around the Harleem Meer feeding the ducks and all. The restrooms are also right across from a playground so it's a fairly busy area. Glad these women weren't harmed. Hope they catch those thugs.

I walk by that Bathroom all the time. I stay away from it like the plague. I’m surprised at the time of the mugging though. 2:20pm during Christmas day? “Tan said she bore no ill will toward the brazen mugger but added, "I believe in karma - so good luck to him." Wouldn’t hear that from a New Yorker. Refreshing to hear that.
