NORAD has been tracking santa for over 50 years. Big deal, it's fun for the kids.

--

In 1955, Colonel Harry Shoup took the first Santa call on Christmas Eve of 1955 from a six-year old boy who began reciting his Christmas list. Shoup didn't find the call funny, but after asking the mother of the second caller what was happening, then realizing the mistake that occurred, he instructed his staff to give Santa's position to any child who called in.

I think there are to many adults out there who have forgotten what it was like to be a kid.I long for the days when I was young and the most important thing to me was if Santa would visit my house and eat the cookies and milk I left out for him.The world is changing into something really tragic and I'm glad my life is almost over.At least I grew-up in a much easier time...

Maybe Santa never showed up to your house because you were rotten and had a negative attitude all the time!!! Thanks Norad...we care!

I think NORAD tracking Santa is wonderful and my children look forward to it every year! It is not the Santa tracking that costs billions (for all you BAHUMBUGS!!!), it is our defense system hard at work and I am greatful for it all year and all those who defend us! Merry Christmas to all...even those of you who seem to have forgotten what Christmas is about... God Bless and remember Jesus is the reason!!!

It's a shame people like Jeebus just don't get it. Santa is in all childrens hearts. Did you forget what it was like being a child? I hope you have a Merry Christmas Jeebus and may God Bless you.

My nieces and nephews care too! They were on the site all night last year...until it was bed time of course (last year they called NORAD really late and the Tech Sergeant on the other end told them that Santa was right over their heads and that they'd better get to sleep or he might not be able to deliver the presents! I don't think I've ever seen those kids move that fast to get into bed!)

So let me get this straight:

The American tax payer spends tens of billions of dollars on NORAD’s radar and defense capabilities, its base buried deep under Cheyenne Mountain, and countless number of multimillion dollar Satellites…

To track an Imaginary Santa Claus going from Africa to North America delivering presents…

Freakin Waste of Money & Time. Do children even give a shit????
