We're really digging Dalton Rooney's "Hello My Name Is.." project-- he's making these stickers of various Brooklyn landmarks, and then photographing them right in front of the landmarks. So deliciously meta!

What landmark should he do next? Our vote: The Williamsburgh Savings Bank.
Bonus: Dalton runs the seriously good Seriously Excited photoblog-- one of the current bright lights of the NYC photoblogging scene.

um, how about freddie's bar?
screw ratner
This reminds me of a project I've had in the works for a while. Similar idea, using polaroids of objects photographed in the same or a similar location.

Sorry if this seems like shameless self-promotion, but I think the projects are related in an interesting way.
Dumb.
and their removed after the photo is taken?
People with trust funds have way too much time on their hands, way too much.
whats to dig? really sort of a pedestrian idea. not people with trustfunds jeff, but people with too much MFA debt...
"What landmark should he do next?"
How's about the Brooklyn Bridge. On the way down.
save difara's!
"and their removed after the photo is taken?"

Domino Sugar plant
this is not fresh
I am lucky enough to know Dalton. He definitely does not have a trust fund. And apparently he's cooler than you haters.
That is seriously rad.
Williamsburgh Savings is definitely on the list, although I'm waiting for them to remove the ugly scaffolding. Who knows how long that will take. I love the idea of Domino and Freddy's, too. Thanks everyone!
The trust fund comment cracked me up. Not even close! No MFA, either. I just enjoy walking around Brooklyn and taking pictures. The stickers are just a bit of fun.
Anzelina - I love your photos. Very nice work.
I haven't been up to anything today. I can't be bothered with anything recently. Nothing seems worth thinking about. I haven't gotten anything done recently, but oh well. Not much noteworthy going on worth mentioning.
I've just been staying at home waiting for something to happen, but I don't care. Basically nothing seems worth thinking about. I can't be bothered with anything recently.
