Looking to decorate your Christmas tree on the cheap this year or want to bring a part of New York to someone outside of the five boroughs? Look no further than the do it yourself MetroCard ornament. You will need a MetroCard (preferably one that has expired), an ornament hanger or a piece of thin wire put in the shape of an ornament hanger.
Simply use the hole in the MetroCard as the spot to place the ornament hook, thread it through, and pinch closed and you are ready to hang it on the tree. It just takes seconds to do and you have a colorful ornament for your tree.
