People, there are only, like, four girls modeling for these photographs. It's really a feat of concept and costuming. And hello... these are ALL minorities. It's a queer calendar. Nobody's trying to make a statement about ethnicity; whether your borough is "cool" has nothing to do with the color range of your pin-up calendars, which always just represents the demographic that happens to be making them and/or buying them. And these chicks are fucking gorgeous.

Do hipsters have math issues? I see one OBVIOUS minority (Miss CH) and two possibles who have been made up to be as white as possible (Miss BH and Miss PS). Either way, the calendar illustrates all that has gone wrong with Brooklyn.

Brooklyn's like .. 60% white, and in the past, was probably like 80% white, so it's not a total !!!WHITEY WASH CONSPIRACY!!! I wondered where the minorities were, too... it's not hard to find some cool black chicks in Bed-Stuy or Clinton Hill, or Hispanic ones whereever. I doubt that's the calender's demographic, though.

Great concept, beautiful girls! I mean no disrespect to the photographer, but I think just it's unfortunate that a majority of them too closely physically resemble "Miss Williamsburg for roughly the past five years." Also Miss Bensonhurst's full sleeve is a bit out of place for Bensonhurst in 1955, no? Hell, even today I'm sure my guidette cousins saw her on the street in Bensonhurst, they would unfortunately give her the evil eye or something.
