  2. The Post has followup on the New Jersey legislature's decision to legalize civil unions: "among the benefits gay couples would get under New Jersey's civil union bill are adoption rights, hospital visitation privileges and inheritance rights." The governor hasn't said when he'll sign the bill.
  3. Sheldon Silver and George Pataki really seem to hate each other!
  4. The Brooklyn Record says Brooklyn might be getting a double-A Rangers farm team. They'd play at Floyd Bennett Field.
  5. Sad: the lower Broadway fabric district is dead: it was a victim of rising rents and increased wholesale competition from abroad.
  6. Lovers of fast-food tacos rejoice: Taco Bell has said the coast is clear, E. coli is nowhere to be seen, and you can return to eating at their establishments.
  7. If you live or work down by Ground Zero, it's going to be a rough five years: over 9000 trucks a month will be delivering supplies to the construction zone, and 50 new projects are planned or already underway.
