Last Night's Action: If the Knicks Can't Win That Game...

2006_11_sknickslogo.jpg-Knicks 94, Hawks 82: Eddy Curry scored 20 points -- again -- and the Knicks took care of the injury-riddled Hawks at home. Josh Childress and Joe Johnson, Atlanta's leading scorer, missed the game. Nonetheless, the Knicks. Curry's streak of 20-plus point games, now at 11, is the longest since Patrick Ewing did it in the 1993-1994 season. His play and that of Jared Jeffries, who had 15 points in his first start this season, helped create the rare easy Knicks win at the Garden.

-Nets 108, Bucks 95: Jason Kidd's becoming a triple-double machine. He now has two straight and three in four games. This one looked extra nice in the box score: 10 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists. Vince Carter's line wasn't as symmetrical, but he did score 36 points. When he and Kidd are on the same page, the Nets offense is tough to stop. New Jersey wasn't hurt by an off-night from Bucks stud Michael Redd.
