Free Cupcakes!

We hear that Crumbs flagship location on 8th Street (between Broadway and University) has opened and they're handing out free cupcakes all day!

This flagship store will be bigger than the others, with seating for up to 35, longer hours, Wi-Fi access and a tapas dessert menu (milk and cookies, apple cider and pie, etc). The store also serves cookies, brownies, cakes, pies, sweet and savory scones, cheesecakes, pastries and tarts. But today...it's all about the free cupcakes. Check out their menu before you go, and let us know if you try their Twinkie cupcake! The store is open until midnight.

not so great. the hostess was pretty good not much different from one i could have bought.

oh dang, i just looked at the website, i'm mistaken. but the ones i bought tonight were 1.75. they were slightly smaller than the standard 3.50 ones, but we perfect. not too much. smaller than binge size. the raspberry and lemon buttercream cupcakes are killer. alright, im done now.

unfortunately for me, this place is a stone's throw from my job. i went after work, got my sample on, and even BOUGHT 2 CUPCAKES. these are among the best cupcakes i've had since i've moved here...and ps. if you moved past the sample tray, you would have seen some pretty gargantuan sized cupcakes. all reasonably priced between 1.75 and 2.75. not bad.

horrible? who said that? did you try the cupcakes? cause i just had one and it was pretty gosh darn good. saving the hostess one for later (it's more like a hostess CupCake than a twinkie).
