It would be really nice if the MTA would have regular G service into Queens. Getting from Queens to Brooklyn is a pain in the butt! The line's there, guys! Just keep it running!

Half of the G line doesn't work (it never serves Queens). Is the MTA going to do anything about that?

That's good news, There going to extend the "G"line to Church Avenue . It's about time the MTA did somwthing worthwhile . They really need to change the markers on the current terminal at Smith-9.Sts so that the "G" stop at the rear of the platform where the exit is . It would be nice if they ran some limited"F" service over those express tracks there upgrading when this extenision of the "G" goes into effect . The MTA is the "Caveman" Of the [21]st century .

(I don't understand why we have to wait at least a year to take the G to Church St., when the G is already going there in order to turn around.) The MTA wants to replace the 1930-installed switches at Church Avenue before using them for revenue service. Let's ride that G to Church. There are a limited number of cars, and if the service isn't used when its there, the cars will go back where they came from.

It doesn't take a very large brain to figure out that the MTA is just staggering these "service improvements." Don't give us too much at once, jerks, or we might expect decent service all of the time.

maybe i can actually take it late at night now. Not only is it not going live until '08 but they're likely to shut down the Very Useful extension of the G to Chuch Street in '09. When the MTA says "might" about service cuts, they mean, "keep it greasy because its going down".

seriously, extending G service further in to brooklyn should have been a no-brainer long before now. and i have been taking the G to and from work for about 18 months now - it's surprisingly crowded. maybe they'll upgrade to 6 cars someday.
