Why would NY'ers vote someone into office that didn't have any desire to fulfill their term. Ny'ers are lucky to get a year of her continued dismal service with her high ambitions. There's no hope of the US if she gets elected.

Can a New York Senator named Clinton, who does not possess the warmth and political skills of her husband and has the baggage of her husband's administration, compete for states in the mountain west, the south and the sunbelt? I believe she would be very hard pressed to win in those parts of the country which a presidential candidate needs to do to win the election. If she ran for the Presidency of New York State, she'd win in a landslide, but the rest of the country is a different story. She and her husband have been branded so negatively by the media, that she would be hard pressed to win in states outside of the beltway. Even if the repubs have had a bad 2006, her support for the Iraq War will make it difficult to draw a contrast between herself and the republicans come 2008.

The time for Hillary to become the first woman president is now. With the Republican's reputation now, she would probably take the presidency easily. Just look at the election last month, Americans don't like the ways republican do things now especially the war. It is killing America. Our people are dying and our resources is being wasted. I'm positive she will go for the democratic nomination in 2008.

New Yorkers need to understand that just because Hillary is well liked in new york doesn't mean that she'll be well liked in middle america. To win the presidency, you can't just be popular in the beltway, you have to be liked in much of the rest of the country, which is not the case with Hillary. Furthermore, she'll be the best get out the vote candidate the republicans can ever hope for.
