Bruni goes to Queens this week, two-stars Sichuan restaurant Spicy & Tasty. It has some of the most distinctive Sichuan cooking in the five boroughs, he says, and "deserves citywide attention from food lovers whose primary interest isn't simply a modestly priced meal off the beaten path, but a hugely enjoyable, eye-opening experience."
Eater is back on the money, having put the odds on two stars. They've also got a link to the Gourmet magazine blog Choptalk, where Ruth Reichl weighs briefly on Gordon Ramsay at the London: "[The food is] pretty flawless stuff, the service is impeccable, the wine list is wonderful... and nothing will wow you." Ouch.
In $25 and Under, Peter Meehan goes to Carroll Gardens' Lucali for pizza. "It's as nice a room to eat pizza in as there is anywhere in the city," he says. The pizza itself? Pretty good, though chef and owner Mark Iacono is still tinkering with the recipes.
Cuozzo's got an update on Alan Yau's Park Chinois, originally slated to open earlier this month in Ian Schrager's Gramercy Park Hotel. As Yau's Hakkasan in London boasts the only Michelin star for a Chinese restaurant, interest has been intense. The supposed cause of the delay? Visas for the chefs from China.

Quit riding Eater's jock already. What's wrong, McFly? You got no scrote?
