THEATER: The Ledge is a multi-media solo show based on a 1959 short story by Lawrence Sargent Hall. The production uses video projection as the only source of stage lighting to tell the haunting tale of a fisherman who becomes stranded with his son and nephew on a small reef off the New England coast in winter. When his wife ultimately finds his frozen body, he is compelled by her eyes to relive his last hours holding the boys above the icy waters. Martin Denton praised the Dixon Place workshop production of The Ledge as “a theatrical experience of rare power and beauty: an exploration of our humanity that has the profound capacity to move and uplift its audience.” - John Del Signore

COMEDY: Oh, hello. You know how much we love The Oh Hello Show, "a monthly talk-show/sitcom hybrid broadcast live from the Upper West Side apartment of George St. Geegland (John Mulaney) and Gil Faizon (Nick Kroll ): two divorcees in their mid fifities who have a new lease on life and a deep love of Alan Alda." The two "ladies" themselves say that on a scale of 1 to Alan Alda, this show is an Elliot Gould! Now that's hot. Watch a video preview here, which is set to the tune of Steely Dan!
8pm // UCB Theater [307 W 26th St]// $5
MUSIC: Ford & Fitzroy, Black Taxi, Indianburn and Her Vanished Grace are playing at Sin-e tonight. Ford & Fitzroy features a former Asobi Seksu member and four other equally talented musicians. Right now we can only find a very vague MySpace page, so the band is a little bit...mysterious. But check it out and listen to the song they have posted, sounds pretty promising...
