global warming? well, it is unseasonably warm. however, my money's on loss of habitat.

James, I know, I was too, a little bit. I think it wasn't on the map because there isn't a specific alligator icon. We'll have to look into that.

A few years ago, someone let an alligator loose in Scajaquada Creek, in Buffalo. Area kids had seen it, and no one believed them, til a few adults saw it. It was caught and now lives on an alligator farm in Florida. Why it wasn't taken to the Buffalo Zoo is beyond me. What a draw it would have been! Scac the Gator! And, they could have saved on lighting. Scajaquada Creek is so polluted, the poor thing probably would have glowed in the dark.

i guess the whole cold blooded thing comes in handy when you're in cold water.
