Altman was a great director. That said, is Gothamist about New York anymore? Multiple posts about Michael Richards? O.J. Simpson? Tom Cruise?

It's a shame that's the only Oscar he ever won. Interestingly, it's the only one that Hitchcock ever got, also.

The Academy did award Altman an honorary Academy Award for lifetime achievement earlier this year Getiing a lifetime achievement Oscar is a pretty good sign that you should stop buying green tomatoes, if you catch my drift.
