The old train such as on the B lines, i take that to school every morning, runs faster (and is older) then the Q train fleets.. The B trains are just more tough and strong oppsed to the R 63 fleet if im not mistaken.
The R40 has great AC(B J M etc) and a strong movement

Well I guess this is a good thing . The {N},&{Q} trains use some of the oldest cars in the fleet . I agree with the above posts concerning the station improvements . This is something that needs upgrading as well. It gives the MTA the chance to get rid of those older trains currently inuse along the {C},{E}, {B},{J},{M}, &{Z} lines . So quit complaining .

seriously. I think the MTA's money would be better spent on station rennovations and infrastructure improvements.

The new cars are really quite nice and all, but are the old ones *really* that bad? Many stations on the other hand, are absolutely disgusting.

i love those old R/W cars -- great colors, wide aisle, smooth ride.
