The owner looks awfully comfortable about the fact that his fellow citizens will have to sit where his dog's shit-covered ass is. I know I'm being a curmudgeon about this, but I find pets on the subway totally disgusting. I know there are other disgusting things on the subway (i.e. the woman who changed her kid right on the damn seat on a crowded subway), but I can just abide by it with humans more so than with animals.

Wait a minute: cute doggie picture but isn't that against the law? does the MTA condone traveling dogs that sit on the seats commuters use? can't you get a ticket for that? why is this the second picture I've seen on this website with a dog sitting in a subway car without a leash and not in a carrier/bag??? aren't you leading your readers to believe this behavior is acceptable?
