Well all you Giants fans have ur boy Plaxico to blame for this . If he kept his big mouth shut the lost wouldn't have been magnified as much . You all know one of them sports casters will bring this up eventually . The giants made a cardnal sin when they trashed the Bears and there defense . You don't do things like that, It make you look cocky . Karma plays it's role in everything you do in life, Pays can be a real bitch !

1) Why didn't then run Jacobs more? Tiki was hurting
2) Why didn't they throw to Shockey?
3) Why didn't they go for two when the score was 24-19?

"[...]but it happened much earlier."

Yes, it did happen much earlier, as in, from the very start of the game, in the first quarter and then onward, when the offense seemed determined to turn over the ball with penalties, missed communication, fumbles and interceptions, negating all the momentum gained by the defense. This is a game the could have won, but they were sloppy and lackadaisical.

I think the loss can be attributed to Coughlin's mind-numbing decision to go for 1 when down by 5 after they had just blown through the Bears defense in 5 play and then to kick a 51-yard field goal into a monsoon at the Meadowlands instead of pinning the Bears inside the 10. This isn't even including the decision to sit on the ball at the end of the first half.

These are a bit more important than a random broken-run in the first half. Those happen.
