READING: Head down to that bastion of drinking and writing combined, KGB Bar, tonight to see a local combination that should be interesting - Park Slope darling Myla Goldberg (Bee Season) and suburbia veteran Rick Moody (The Ice Storm) are both reading from recent and upcoming work in the cramped but congenial bar. - Krissa Corbett Cavouras

COMEDY: Having a little American Idol withdrawl? Yeah, neither are we. But why not head over to see Adira Amram's comedy show "Adira Amram is: An American Idol". With a catchy catch phrase like "let her star spangle your banner", chances are it's probably pretty entertaining.
7pm // P.I.T. [154 W 29th St] // $5
THEATER: Zone in and/or out at the new multimedia Van Driver Experience!, the latest jaunt from The Operating Theater, whose brilliant FLAT! was lauded by the Times as "proudly silly and prurient, broadly satirical and filled with sensationalistic gags that would shock your grandmother.” The new show promises a “laser light show in your mind” with Waldo ‘Van’ Driver whose “outlandish but eerily insightful views on life are undeniably life altering!” The Experience! is part of the Cherry Lane Theater’s new late-night series. (Ends Saturday - so don’t space out.) - John Del Signore
