Not the first time this has happened on the L. A Saturday around 5pm, maybe 3 months ago, we were headed to Brooklyn approaching Union Sq. A bunch of high school kids started screaming "he's got a knife!" and rushed the front of the car. I didnt get a good view because all the people pushing through, but it did look like some haggard old man. The MTA employee in the booth didn't do a goddamn thing, no phone call, nothing. Actually, he asked if the person was black or white. Anyone else?
