I'm a family friend of this girl and you guys are acting like she was an idiot. Haven't you ever gone to a bar for a Mardi Gras party or a beach bar with stupid contests and messed up horribly? You see people making a-holes out of themselves on the regular at karaoke bars. This girl is no different than any of you. I will bet my last dollar that there are none of you that posted that haven't done a stupid contest at a stupid bar. So please don't call her an idiot for participating in a contest while SOBER. The ones who do contests drunk are the idiots......

That happened to a friend of mine in Miami, man she was messed up, I had to take her to the hospital, an awful scene all around, when it happened, barely anyone noticed too. As bad as it was the main thing is, SHE DECIDED TO DANCE ON THE BAR. No on forced her, she did it on her own accord, of course its dangerous. Is ignorance a disease that is spreading via unknown ways? Why is it that people think they are entitled to so much? Send this woman to dogtrack or just drag her into the street and get it over with.

What made me laugh was the lawyer's reasoning that one drink (plus maybe sips of another) wouldn't make one too drunk for dancing. Sometimes those happy hour $3 margaritas are totally loaded! Plus, who knows how much she had to drink? Anyway, tearing up your knee's ligaments sucks, so I can't totally blame her for trying to get some retribution. And I can totally see Calico Jack's having patrons sign waivers.

Remember the "caution: content is hot!" on coffees? They should now post "Caution: Slippery When Wet, any activities engaged will be done at your own risk..." on the top of the bar. I recommend the sticker for all bars

How about knowing how to dance. That should be a 100% requirement. If the she couldn't dance in one spot, or doesn't know how to move about without losing equilibrium, she should go back to dance 101 and practice balance. It sounds like she was contorting in dizzy delirium, not dancing. Dancing is about control to music/ rhythms. Gosh. I wish there was a webcam for that. Does anyone have the sight.
