This is almost like The Burg's baby years! Here's the part one of the pilot of the Columbia University soap opera, The Gates (here's part two and part three). One of the actors told the Columbia Spectator, "I don't think I'm going to have any more friends. I'm scared I'm going to come off as a spectacular douche bag."
Can collegiate TV production levels rehabilitate Columbia's image after The Mirror Has Two Faces and the Minutemen incident? Probably not, but it's a painfully addictive way to pass the time. [Via Bwog]

Aren't most Columbia students in general spectacular douche bags anyway?

I agree. It's a wonder this was ever made b'c the twats on screen seem so bored and disinterested in the entire affair. User-generated media like this will never replace more traditional forms of entertainment because the people involved have no concept of editing or pacing. Please don't encourage any more of this dreck, no matter what your alma mater is.
slowly dying
