I don't know - if the city can invoke "ancient maritime law" to cap lawsuits from the victims and their families, I don't see why another party can use those same laws against the city. I don't think they have a case anyway.

Can anyone say 'mercenaries?' What happened to helping people out? Are all those boat owners going to start suing the city because they want to be compensated for rescuing people on 9/11? What is wrong with people?
