Besides, NYC was a great place before Guliani/Pataki years (at least if you were not shot and if hyper high taxes did not bother you).&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I remember when this joker carpet-bombed the airwaves (pardon the p1ss-poor metaphor) with adverts when he was chasing the Dem nomination for mayor. The man quite plainly lacks the smallest shred of charisma, and it&apos;s hard to feel much sympathy for the man when his largely incidental reputation for boring probity disappears over night. What with Betsy&apos;s current scrapes it&apos;s hard to escape the feeling that Bloomberg is somehow paying the city&apos;s democrats to make him look good. I jest, mostly.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
