culture of corruption..Menendez in NJ, brooklyn democratic party bosses selling judge appointments for $50k etc..isn't it great that we have the democratic party! Besides, NYC was a great place before Guliani/Pataki years (at least if you were not shot and if hyper high taxes did not bother you).

I remember when this joker carpet-bombed the airwaves (pardon the p1ss-poor metaphor) with adverts when he was chasing the Dem nomination for mayor. The man quite plainly lacks the smallest shred of charisma, and it's hard to feel much sympathy for the man when his largely incidental reputation for boring probity disappears over night. What with Betsy's current scrapes it's hard to escape the feeling that Bloomberg is somehow paying the city's democrats to make him look good. I jest, mostly.
