4. Silliest promotion this year: Ocean Spray constructed a giant cranberry bog at Rockefeller Center to celebrate cranberry harvest season. They even brought in bog-workers!
5. Deranged subway-pusher Andrew Goldstein was finally sentenced to 23 years in prison for the murder of Kendra Webdale.
6. NSFW or the hirsute: a woman is suing after a Harlem beauty parlor mangled her upper lip during a waxing procedure.
7. Congrats to A-Ron and aNYthing brand for scoring yet another profile in the Times-- and actually getting them to refer to him as "A-Ron the Downtown Don." Awesome!
