Kevin, I've seen your site in regards to my Mott Haven neighborhood, but I didn't see any photos of the apartment building on 138th with the stone likenesses of Teddy Roosevelt and Samuel Clemons, and I think Jane Addams. Have you seen that building? It's between Alexander and Willis. Do you know anything about the history of it?

Four months? Har-dee-har-har. This is New York. Not Atlanta or Las Vegas. I predict the work will be done sometime in 2012.

I'll miss the old bridge. It still has the "all persons must leave the draw when gong sounds" sign, and, when I shot it in 1999 the walkways were still illuminated by incandescent bulbs complete with radial-wave diffusers... http://www.forgotten-ny.com
