I'm of two minds about the High Line conversion. I'd much rather see it being used for rail purposes, but as that's almost certainly not going to happen I suppose it's better off being converted to a park than just rotting away.

The High Line runs through the West Village? The only purpose of the park is to enhance West Village property owners' wealth? You're free to criticize the park all you want but your criticisms might find more traction if they were reality-based.
