More Details About Street Food Line Cutting Stabbing

There are many different stories flying around about the fatal argument at the midtown halal stand. The brother of victim Noel Gibbons spoke to the Daily News about what happened. Shannon Gibbons says that he, Noel, and a friend were waiting on line when Ziad Tayeh said they had cut in front of him.

"I think I was in front of you," said Tayeh, according to Shannon Gibbons.

"We just ignored him," he recalled. But when they took off in Gibbons' car - a brand-new 2007 Toyota Yaris - Tayeh tailed them through two traffic signals, Shannon Gibbons said.

Twice they pulled over to let him pass, but both times he kept following them, he said. The third time, Tayeh jumped out and stabbed Noel Gibbons in the back before speeding off in his Lexus, cops said.

Tayeh's mother, though, told Metro, “[Her son] was wearing a diamond ring and a bracelet. They were pushing him around and he just went to the car and drove away." She also mentioned that Tayeh had "multiple leg surgeries and could not run away from the three teens."

Tayeh was charged with second degree murder. Gibbons had been living in wealthy Short Hills, NJ with a family that had employed his mother as a nanny (the rest of the Gibbons family live in Jersey City). The father, Michael Bosches, said, "He was such a good kid. He worked 45 hours a week," while his son Michael said, “I can believe that standing in a food line, he or anybody else might say, 'Hey man, you cut!' But that’s all I could see him doing.”

Stupid Sh*t like that (trash talkin)got Noel killed, not "punks" like me...i know where noel came from...jersey City....but you got to realize something, Millburn/Shorthills aint the hood...and he was acting like he's in the hood, instead of making friends he made enemies. I know how these guys are... you guys act madd tough when your with bunch of people, but when your by yourself, you guys are out like a fat girl in dodge ball... out of all the brother and sisters i actually liked Noel.. Shannon just had a bad infuence on him.. Whenever he was by himself he would be nice and calm, as soon as he would be with his brother...he would turn into a tough guy...My friends and I been to court soo many times for B.S. reason cause of them...They know how to file charges but can't show up to the court, there just lucky we never filed a counter claim against these guys... These guys are not worth it, and i just dont want them to ruin some kids life (Ziad Tayeh), cause they couldn't keep there mouth shut...i told them SO MANY times take it easy or else....now look....Its really sad that he died, but i hope his brother and sister could learn a lesson and calm down and get there act straight....

I actually knew the kid Noel, as a matter of fact i knew the whole damn family, i really hate to say this but, they were not nice people. They went to the same high school as me. They were alway starting fights in school. And my school was one of those places, where the board of ed did not tolerate that. Shannon actually got expelled from high, month before he was suppose to graduate..These kids knew how to get underneath peoples skin. Myself actually got in a brawl with Shannon, back few years ago. I had a broken hand at that point, and this kid got me soo mad that i didn't even consider the situation and i just ended up throwing a punch at the kid. His family is known for filing false charges. His sister actually got one of my good freinds arrested, by accussing him of "grabing her chest", she just got dissed by my boy and couldnt do shit about it... But i actually want to help Ziad. I do not know the kid myself, but im 100% sure hes innocent. I knew Shannon and Noel pretty well, and i told them few years ago, your mouth is going to get you in a lot of Sh*t...Ziad or any of his freinds read this, tell him i have few info on the family which may help him prove his innocence.

WTF- I would tell you that either you're a liar or the person who claims they saw the whole thing is lying!!! Like I said let's just wait until trial and we will both hear the actual facts of the case. I know for a fact that those boys were surrounding Ziad's car, well at least their prints were all over the car. You have to understand that it doesn't matter what you or anyone else has to say about Ziad, those who know him know that there are false facts going around, so the best thing to do is await trial.

"WTF" If you know someone who saw the whole thing than you wouldnt be argueing against Ziad,not saying Ziad was right about what he did but you would know Ziad was forced into the situation he was in and further more you would understand why he got bail. listen "wtf" theres no point in you trying to make a point,unless you have no friends and talking on here is the only way you get attention(thats another story),but theres nothing you can explain,show or prove,the D.A,detectives and the judge are for more advanced than your sorry azz is with the law.they must have somthing that shows Ziad did not intend to do what he did.anyone can make up a story and say what happened,we all know that because someone made like 3 stories.Ziad made 1 story( the truth n the fact) of what happened,if the D.A. and detectives in anyway hinted to a clue that Ziad lied about anything he said in his report,Ziad would still be in jail and on top of that,we all know theres 2 sides to a story.the brother gave his story and ziad gave his story,everyone is pretty sure the detectives dont believe the brother or Ziad but they work with both stories.Ziad automaticaly looked bad for leaving the scene,so that gives the detectives more of a reason to believe the brother.ok,so at that point Ziad looked like a cold blooded murderer.which is understandable.on the other hand,who would stay in front of 3 people trying to rob you.I know its hard for some of you to believe that.you know what,lets say it wasn't a robbery attempt,lets just say Ziad was threatened.we all know the d.t's and the d.a goes out and do their investigation.if they somehow went out and did their investigating and then decided Ziad should get bail,what does that tell you ignorant people who think Ziad is guilty.that means they found evidence or witnesses that benefited Ziad's behalf.in other words,the d.t's and d.a are realizing that Ziad's story just might be true.And they dont want to risk having an innocent man in jail,that doesn't look too good in the media.

P.S. anyone arguing for Ziad,his family appreciates it and we thank you all,but you dont have to argue for him anymore,let the ignorance continue to blind those people,let it all be settled under 1 person and wait till trial starts.let these people say what they want to say..peace n love....
