Thief Backs Stolen Car Into Cop

2006_10_blacklexus.jpgEarly this morning, the police found a stolen car in the Bronx and waited for the driver to return in order to make an arrest. When a couple got in the car, police officers approached and then the driver backed the car into one cop, pinning her against a bench or pole. The police officer standing near the driver's side then fired at the windshield, hitting the driver, Rafael Ven, in the cheek.

Police found two guns in the car, including one in Ven's waistband. Officer Fannie Ortiz's leg was broken in three places; she and Ven are in stable condition. The police had been using a new license plate scanner to detect stolen vehicles; this car had been stolen from a Queens dealership.

the guy only got hit in the cheek?, the cops should have unloaded on the couple

You can bet both of these a$$holes will accidentally fall down some stairs or bump into the table a few hundred times...

Backing into an officer? b, above, is right-should have gotten more than just the cheek...
