Poison the flying rats. It might not be illegal to feed pigeons but you can be fined by the Dept. of Health for it.

There is new technology under development for bird contraception. Already approved for use in resident Canada geese, pigeons are next on the list. Stay tuned. Erick

Pigeons can be controlled without harm to them or the environment. In addition, even if one were able to kill all current pigeons as some posters are suggesting, the area would still be attractive to new ones. (Nature hates a vaccuum). The key to a long-term solution is making the area undesirable. Otherwise you're just treating the symptoms. Products like spikes needle strips, non-toxic Bird Proof anti-roost gel, bird netting, and more are popular and effective. They treat the problem at the source, permanently.

This thing is so fucking stupid. They should have just torn that liability down before the city starts getting lawsuits because of idiots falling down, getting a splinter or stubbing their toes.

Kill all the pigeons! If there was a rat problem, they wouldn't think twice about killing them all. Oh and we should also kill anyone who feeds pigeons.
