-Bruni's back with his take on Harry's Steak and Cafe, giving it one star. He seems to be happy with the steakhouse portion of the restaurant, but is much less impressed by Harry's Cafe, where, although it shares the same kitchen with Harry's Steak, "the menu metastasizes in ways that often turn out to be ill-advised." The Eater boys were on the mark this week.

- Dana Bowen at $25 and Under discovers the late-night wonders of Momofuku Ssam Bar, and says that he transformation is "as intriguing as watching a strait-laced wallflower reveal an inner wild child." She also gives her take on the Vendy Awards.
- Tables for Two visits Café d’Alsace, tasting hearty "Alsatian offerings, many of which arrive in black cast-iron pots, like something a farm girl might sneak to a wounded soldier hiding out in the barn."
- Adam Platt gives his take on Boqueria, the latest addition to the New York tapas community, and graces it with two stars, finds the tapas to be "well-executed versions of the timeworn originals," and adding that "what the restaurant lacks in gravitas it makes up for with a healthy sense of fun."
- Cravings takes a trip to Urban Lobster and is not impressed. In a showdown between lobster rolls from Urban Lobster and Tides, "it’s not much of a competition. Tides wins hands down."
