<description>&lt;p&gt;I think the committee should look at every building that comes before on an individual basis. Sure the building will be radically different from the surrounding neighborhood, but if it&apos;s beautiful in it&apos;s own right and will add  to the neighborhood they should allow it. It&apos;s not like they are trying to replace a grand structure like Penn Station with a monstrosity. Preservation shouldn&apos;t freeze a neighborhood in the past. It should preserve it&apos;s character and allow for room for appropriate growth and evolution. Sure it&apos;s important to remember your past, but you shouldn&apos;t let it strangle your future. This is New York after all. Creativiity shouldn&apos;t be stifled here.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
