I hope we have another candidate (either third party or substitute Dem nominee), because I don&apos;t relish the idea of choosing between these two.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

<description>&lt;p&gt;I agree with Alan Hevesi.  Judge him on his political record.  If he has done his job well over the years and has helped NYC, then they should get off of his back.

The world nor NYC needs these stupid witch hunts.  Bring him down because he doesn&apos;t do his job well, not because another guy is power hungry greedy and self serving.  Self serving enough to smear another politician.  The charges are so petty.  Why not fine the guy and move on.  

They haven&apos;t stated what the slur was nor the context in which it was used.

Mr. Hevesi should stop apologizing.  Be a man and defend what he knows is right.  If he thinks that he did nothing, then he shouldn&apos;t apologize.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
