I am just looking forward to trying some of his spiced up lamb and basmati rice...mmmmmm. As a matter of fact I will try to go there this week, feel kinda bad though for doing this only after he was announced the winner. But still, better late than never!

On that note.. today is Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the holiest days in the Islamic calendar. This day marks the end of our 30 days of fasting during the month of Ramadan. Leave it to Gothamist to fail at mentioning this very important event. Muslim people are in tough times, and any way to highlight them in a positive light would be highly appreciated. Gothamist misses again. Bet you won't miss christmas or chanukah though!
