+ Looks like Hevesi could be in big trouble for not reimbursing the state for his wife's chauffeur.
+ Via the Gothamist Newsmap: a worker was killed when he fell off a scaffold on the Queensboro Bridge. The Port Authority Bus Terminal on 42nd was closed for an hour after an EDP made a bomb-threat.
+ Curbed has the story of that huge, mysterious building on the corner of 3rd Street and 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn-- apparently it's filled with punk rockers!
+ Hillary strikes back: ""my high-school picture was cute."
+ Forgotten-NY visits Northern Boulevard in Queens. Did you know that Northern Blvd extends all the way out to the end of Long Island? That's a long street.
+ And the award for worst-Halloween costume idea goes to the Brooklyn Record. Congrats!
Forty Second Street, by Braesikalla.

The first house I lived in on Long Island was 6201 Northern Blvd. It was in East Norwich, a hamlet that borders Oyster Bay, and the house was a 230 year-old colonial with seven bedrooms and 7' tall ceilings.
When I found myself on Northern Blvd. in Queens for the first time, I was astonished!
The Gothamist Newsmap needs to learn its bridges.
Hevesi..another corrupt republican..no wait, he is a democrat. Had he been a republican this would be front page news on New York Times-Jazeera.
that hillary article has quite a punch line at the end. ha.
The Hevesi story is on the front page of the Times, you boob.
Wrong bridge.....
And the Hevesi story was covered at length on NPR. The so-called liberal media is usually good at policing its own. Meanwhile, Fox news portrays Republican idiots like Foley as Democrats.
When I was training for the NYC Marathon, I would do my long runs in the summmer on Sundays on Northern Blvd from Lakeville Road in Nassau County all the way to Flushing, Queens. But it is a long street - but a good long workout. :-)
