Well, let's be reasonable, here. If you found out your loved one's body parts were vacuumed up by a Con Ed truck, you'd freak out, too. But it's a minor story, aside from the freaking-out families and the poor humps who have to search the site again, nobody really has to worry about it.

Jeezus christ will these surviving kin ever just let go and move on with LIFE? I'm sure it's hard but how much satisfaction can be gained from clinging to odd bone fragments, dna dust and old wallets from loved ones? I am sure several of them are running to a lawyer's office where they no doubt will find a comforting ear ... and a way to sue the port authority for more $$$. Isn't that what this is really all about?

sounds like this was the fire department's fault, not con ed's but i'm not blaming anyone in fact i think we're spending far too much time and effort on combing through debris to identify remains as it is.
