For all the sh*t I and others give the NYPD, I have to say that stuff like this is FAR more impressive and useful, than, say, arresting Critical Mass riders. Keep it up NYPD!

I'm the Sergeant mentioned in the article and I just wanted to share something with everyone. When I put my arm around my partner in order to convincingly seem gay, I looked deep into his eyes and realized THIS IS THE MAN I WANNA MARRY!. His tenderness, love and caring suddenly came thru so intensely I French-kissed him right there and then. He too confessed that seeing my hairy, sweaty backhairs in the precint locker room also turned him on and he kissed me right back!. In fact, if that asshole who we arrested hadn't shown up to interrupt us, we probably wouldn't gotten a room in order to butt_f*ck each other til the end of our shift. I felt like scratching his freakin' eyes out I was so angry.

I have to wonder how the NYPD decides who gets picked for this assignment. But I guess that it could be worse if they had to pose as a streetwalkers with high heels and miniskirts. Tyrone George [age *20*] could be a freshman student at Washington Irving HS. (Well, he's not too bright.) Some of those students are trouble-makers around Union Square.

My very limited knowledge of the law suggests Samantha T is right. If it were entrapment, the police would have needed to approach George and somehow solicited his bigoted behavior, no? Anyway, good on the NYPD!
